Dear Friend,
A certain housewife named Marian McQuade thought of a way of honoring the elderly in nursing homes. She lobbied to have a day to celebrate their worth and great wisdom! This resulted in 1978's proclamation of the first Grandparent's day ever.
Wise words and a true appreciation of life count as the wealth of our seniors. Let's not let this day pass without our paying tribute to them!

- "It is because of all God's grace, supplemented with good thoughts, good eating, pure vegetarianism, humility, no anger or jealousy, and loveableness." - Swami Bua, 110 yrs. old.

Registration starts at 8 AM on Saturday. Ends lunch of Sunday.

Things to bring: Bible, notebook, pen, clothes, toiletries, personal medicine - let us know if you have diet restrictions before Sept 5.
