Pajama Portrait Workshop

We’re having a cozy art session with fun warm-up prompts, a DIY portrait booth you can customize, and your own live portrait. We’ll be using eco-conscious materials from Papemelroti to make art that feels good for you and the planet.
No art experience needed, just bring yourself and your curiosity.
Location: Papemelroti Studio, 91 Roces Ave., Quezon City
Date: Aug 30, 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Please arrive on time!)
Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. There are also nearby cafes if you’d like to grab something before or after the session.
About the Teacher
Jassy Laragan is an illustrator and art director from Manila, Philippines. What started as a hobby sketching strangers has grown into an experiential art called Pajama Portrait, a 2-minute live drawing session in a handmade photo booth-style frame. It’s been to events across the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia. People don’t just leave with merch, they leave with a memory.

Level 1: 12-session course for teens and adults who want to learn the foundations of art–no experience or talent needed
Level 2: 12-session course in watercolor, applying level 1 lessons in more complex compositions

📃COURSE DESIGN:
🎨LEVEL 1. This 12-session course is designed for the adult beginner eager to learn watercolor painting.
• Lessons 1-6 help build skills toward watercolor painting. It begins with the basics of drawing, shading, and color using pencil and oil pastels. Students learn depth and perspective, translating 3D forms onto a flat surface.
• Lessons 7-12 introduces the student to the basics of watercolor. Initial lessons in pencil and oil pastels will be applied to make watercolor paintings have depth and vibrance. Wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, color blending, and layering will be introduced to achieve various watercolor effects.
🖌️LEVEL 2. This 12-session course in watercolor applies level 1 lessons in more complex
compositions.
🤚Can I just choose the sessions I will attend?
Yes, you can! However, the course is structured to ensure maximum learning through a carefully designed sequence. Each lesson builds on the previous one, so following the full progression enhances understanding and skill development.
