Robert Alejandro: Alab ng Sining Awardee

Robert Alejandro was granted the Gawad Alab ng Sining Award from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts (CFA), his alma mater, last July 4, 2025.
The posthumous award was given by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts (CFA) Prof. Abdulmari “Toym” de Leon Imao Jr.
In behalf of Robert's family, his sister Peggy (the "PE" of papemelroti), received the award. Incidentally, Toym Imau was Peggy's former student from the University of the Philippines College of Architecture (small world)!
This honor is one of the most prestigious award that the university gives to one of its alumni.
The event was held during the college graduation for 2025.
