2006 Valentines E-newsletter

Dear Friend,
We thought we'd feature a message from Christian writer, preacher and inspirational speaker Bo Sanchez in this issue.
Everything you need to be happy is within you
To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existence. – Sydney Smith
At the end of the day, there is only one thing that can make us happy. It is called LOVE, because we are born for love. We are designed for it. Every cell of our body, every part of our soul is created for love. Surround yourself with love. And practice it daily.
People in their deathbeds never say, “I wish I had bought a car”, or “I wish I had spent more time in my office…” Listen to people in their dying hour and you will hear the same regret: “I wish I had spent more time loving…” Relationships are the most important things in our lives – more important than all the wealth in the world.
Money is like saltwater. No amount of money will quench your inner thirst for love and happiness. It will only make you thirstier. You want more and more and more until you drop dead from spiritual malnutrition.
Learn to love everyday. Let this be your highest ambition in life: to be a great lover! So when the money comes, you will make money a servant of love.
Are you a loving person? Are you kind, generous, forgiving? Do you love yourself too? Rate yourself from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most loving. You will notice that your score will also be your score for personal happiness. Does your schedule and budget express the truth that your relationships are the most important things in the world?

It's All About Love!
Love quote: 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. - Alfred Lord Tennyson
Love game: Play this with the whole family or with friends. Ask everyone to sit together in a circle. Everyone then writes an act of love or service they would want to be done to them that makes them feel the most loved (ex. I feel most loved when someone bakes me a cake). When everyone is done, someone reads out all that is written. Everyone tries to guess who wrote what. Everyone who makes a mistake in their guess has to fulfill that act of service for the one they had a mistake with.
