We know starting something new can feel intimidating, so Ms Thessa and the Pen and Pause Team have made this workshop as beginner-friendly as possible.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
They'll begin by showing you the different tools and explaining how they work. Then you will practice basic strokes together, one step at a time. You will learn how to hold the pen, control the pressure, and make smooth lines before we even think about letters. To guide you through it all, Teacher Thessa truly understands the beginner's journey, and she will make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
As one participant shared, "What I like about the workshop is that there is no pressure to be perfect. I can just go with the slow flow and feel the importance of mindfulness."

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP TEACHER
Thessa Dimasuhid is a "mom-preneur" and mindfulness advocate who shares art to spark calm and purpose. She runs creative workshops like calligraphy and painting and designs products that help people slow down and reflect. A big part of her heart goes into supporting scholarships and mentorship for students in need.
