Desktop Garden Doggy

"To plant a garden
is to believe
in tomorrow."
- Audrey Hepburn
Sage. Chartreuse. Lime. Pine. Crocodile. Juniper. What do all of these have in common? They're all shades of green. There is something about seeing a mild palette of mint hues that instantly soothes. Just like tired eyes are refreshed by looking out at the sky, seeing green is instantly calming. Some therapists wrap green scarves around trauma victims to relax them.
As the weather turns warm and the sun seemingly starts to shine all the more brighter, now is the time to dabble in micro-gardening. If in the past you've experienced zero survival rates in caring for plants then this is another chance for you to succeed!!! All it takes is 3-4 days!
Our new desktop garden brings the outdoors into your desk. Put this on your office table and look at it when you're feeling stressed. Just seeing the miraculous buds come to life will make your day! One must try it to believe it.
Here's how...
1 - Have some Mung Beans (or "Monggo") ready along with tissue paper and water.
2 - Assemble like the picture above and put about 2-3 TBSP of water - just enough for everything to get wet.
3 - Look for a shady place (still with a bit of sun) where the seeds can grow steadily.
4 - Wait and watch! Remember not to be overeager and fiddle around with this. Just leave it alone for the seeds to grow. Try this with other types of seeds too and tell us how it went!
The Desktop Garden is a wonderful gift idea. Have the doggy bring a note or hold a little umbrella (when it's pouring outside maybe?).
