This workshop is wonderful for children! Little hands that tug and tear, cut and craft, make such beautiful things! Not much is needed for a child to start enjoying a project! Who knows? This might be the start of an exciting hobby, great projects or even making inventions!
Innovations allow workshop participants to value simple resources and become resourceful in making something valuable out of them.
The papemelroti family of artists grew up on making their own toys and wish to share the joy of creating with others this September!
Start the children early in managing their finances! A little goes a long, long way! If they make, they'll surely use it! This bank will be full in no time!
These events will be conducted by Lyn Acorda, our resident papemelroti workshop teacher.
Seeing people who really love and enjoy the craft projects at the papemelroti Artisans' Workshop is Lyn's favorite part in her work. The Batanguena is always eager to teach how the featured crafts are made.
It is Lyn's goal to help all the workshoppers who attend her classes to discover their hidden talents and to not be afraid of doing simple artsy things. She also hopes that all the students and visitors would be able to share their what they've learned to others.
It is her vision for children to focus more on hobbies like art instead of being engrossed in gadgets. We couldn't agree more!
